"The data area passed to a system call is too small" when trying to open file
On a Windows 7 machine that we have we are getting the error "The data area passed to a system call is too small" when trying to open a file out of the search results page. Please advise.

Hi, Before moving on, I would like to confirm that if this file is on a network folder and if it is able to open the other files on your search results page. If you want to open the shared files and folders, this issue can be caused by inappropriate or Conflicting Security Permissions on the folder. Hi sorry i didn't reply, the permissions are fine and this is a local file that is shared from this machine, if you right click and select open file location and then open the file it works fine.
